  • 2027 Kent & Medway Health Inequalities Summit

Living Well: Stronger | Longer | Better

    Thursday 25 March 2027  |   9am
    The Historic Dockyard Chatham, Medway

Health inequalities are not inevitable. It is time to act together.

Where we live, work, grow, connect and access support can significantly influence life chances and outcomes.

The Summit will bring together residents, community and faith leaders, voluntary organisations, health practitioners, researchers, commissioners, policymakers and decision-makers to explore how communities across Kent and Medway can live stronger, longer and better lives.

Join us on Thursday 25 March 2027 to move beyond describing inequalities and start shaping practical, community-informed solutions.

Expect a dynamic, inclusive and participant-led Summit built around:

Why Partner With Us?

At WeThriveTogether, we combine place-based public health thinking, asset-based community development and trusted community relationships to help organisations engage meaningfully with residents and communities.

We offer:

  • Expertise in community-centred and asset-based approaches to health improvement.
  • The ability to translate public health evidence into practical, community-informed action.
  • The ability to connect research, services and policymakers with lived experience and community insight.
  • Trusted relationships across community, faith, voluntary, academic and statutory sectors.

We do not claim to speak for communities. We create opportunities for communities to speak for themselves, contribute safely and influence the decisions that affect their lives.

Our Belief

Health inequalities are not inevitable.

Communities are not defined by their challenges alone. Every community possesses strengths, relationships, knowledge and potential. When people understand the factors that influence health and life outcomes, have access to opportunities and are supported to influence change, healthier futures become possible.

That is why we exist.
